Throughout this infertility journey it seems like it has been one waiting game after another.
Start trying, wait two years before a doctor will see you to see if there is something wrong. Waiting from month to month as I dread the start of my period as another marked failure month. Surgery for my husbands problems, wait 72 days to see if the surgery did any good. Make an appointment to get on a waiting list to see a specialist.
Now we are waiting for the start of my cycle to make an appointment to fly to Colorado to make another waiting plan......

Hi Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say that this struggle IS all consuming - so if you can, try not to beat yourself up about it ... or at least inflict less aggressive beatings when you do :-) ... and you know what, I know you are discouraged ... but if you're right, in that there are no egg issues. Then you have a really GREAT prognosis with CCRM ... seriously sister - I am willing to bet money that you will have twins from IVF.
One thing I caution to women who are dealing with male infertility - consider how many children you want and what you will do with left over embryos (as in - consider not making too many) ... many women, years down the road grieve having to discard, give to research, or put up for adoption the extra embryos. I know you're not there yet, but someday you'll be thinking about it.
I have the highest of hopes for you and look forward to watching your journey unfold.
Welcome to the blogshere,
